Following an imaginary timeline, the fundamental stages in the history of the Santa Caterina complex are narrated: from the origins of the monastery for the nuns of Santa Maria Maddalena delle Illuminate, to its transformation into a shelter for the reception and education of poor girls, up to its current configuration as a university premises.
