An interesting document emerges from the University's archives to immortalize the act of symbolic transfer of the bronze Door to the Royal University of Padua by the student body, represented by the Comitato per le onoranze, in the figure of its president Raffaele Cantoni.

This is one of the main moments of the opening ceremony, the centerpiece of the day's celebrations on June 10.

Among the signatures, we can distinguish those of rector Luigi Lucatello and Raffaele Cantoni, those of the ministers present, but what stands out above all is the one written by the king: Vittorio Emanuele signs and approves the transfer and legitimizes the new, bronze face of the university palace.
